Holy Trinity Parochial Church Council

Shaped Every Day

A Deanery Evening was held on Wednesday 27th February 2019 at St David’s Broom Leys to look at how we will be “Shaped by God” in the coming years, the evening was led by Bishops Martyn and Guli and was attended by 11 representatives from Holy Trinity.

Vision Morning for PCC members

This was held on Saturday 2nd March at St Mathew’s Worthington starting at 8.00am with a delicious breakfast prepared by Jean J Harrison PCC Secretary, for which we say a big thank you.

The first session was to focus on our Vision which is the “kingdom of God” and how in our personal lives, our church life and in the community we are seeking to further this calling.

The Diocese of Leicester has also chosen to focus on this priority of discipleship in three ways

  1. How we are growing and enabling others to grow in the depth of their discipleship
  2. How we are enabling growth in the number of disciples of Jesus.
  3. How we are serving our community and enabling others to love and serve those around us.

We are asked to think, pray about, and work with these priorities in order to advance the kingdom of God in these areas.

A small amount of PCC business was also included on the agenda along with prayer and worship.
