Pathways Cafe Purpose and Work

Purpose

To meet needs in our community. These range from being made welcome to various kinds of practical and spiritual help.

To provide pathways into the life of our church.

The range of the work

• Tea, Coffee and Toast
• A friendly welcome
• Information about our Churches many and varied actives, including Sunday Services and the Alpha Course.

Other activities during Pathways sessions

• Housing Matters provides weekly support with housing matters.
• Job Centre Plus, provides access to their services on occasions.
• A sewing circle
• CAP (Christians Against Poverty) Offers
  • CAP Money Course
  • Fresh Start Course
  • Access to the Debt Help Service
• The Local Link Coordinator can sign post people to many other services and actives.
