FREE Make a Jam Jar Bouquet Workshop

Saturday 14 September 9:30-11.00am at Holy Trinity Ashby, Kilwardby Street, LE65 2FR.

Join us in The Garden Room pop-up cafe for a free cuppa and a slice of cake - and make a jam jar bouquet to take home, or give away and make someone smile.

Alongside our cafe, we'll be hosting a 'make a jam jar bouquet' activity. This won't be a taught workshop, but some of our friendly volunteers will be on hand to guide you, if you'd like some help.

We will cut and and condition some flowers from our growing spaces for you to have fun with and bring along plenty of jam jars, so you can make a jar to enjoy at home - and if you'd like to, another to give away to someone else.

Our family-friendly community events are free and a great opportunity to get together and do something fun with family and friends of all ages.

All welcome (children to be accompanied please). No need to book in advance - just come along.

These events are being hosted by local community gardening project The Garden Room - and are part of a series of Saturday morning events in 2024. We run two growing spaces in Ashby where we grow cut flowers and fresh fruit and veg that we share with our community, to bring joy and make people smile.
