About Us

Are you new to the church or the area? If so, you are very welcome!

We are a dynamic church made up of people from many walks of life, different nations and all ages. We love to welcome new people.

We are also active in our local community working alongside others and running our own projects in order to express the love of God in a practical way.

A Worshipping Community

Currently there are over 170 people on our electoral roll. Holy Trinity church is an extended family of people who want to follow Jesus. You are welcome to join us at any of our services.

Our Building

The Holy Trinity Church building was completed in 1840. Inside you will find a prayer tour of the building and a historical guide to points of architectural interests. Our building is ordinarily open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily  but please do check our calendar)

Our Church Hall 

Holy Trinity's Church hall was completed in 1957. The hall is in use for most of the week with regular hirers. Please contact the Parish Office for booking enquiries.

Our Team Ministry

Holy Trinity is a member of the Flagstaff family of churches. Holy Trinity is part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Leicester and the Deanery of North West Leicestershire.

Clergy

Tim Phillips is the Team Vicar at Holy Trinity and in the Flagstaff family of churches. Since September 2016 Tim as worked with people from Trinity and St Matthew's Worthington to facilitate ministry in Worthington and Newbold (in the parish of St Matthews).

Two other (retired) clergy are members of our church family, take services and are involved in other ministries: Paul Harris and Stephen Brook.

Steve Clowes is Reader at Holy Trinity, leading services and preaching.
 

Parish Office

Emma Harris is our Parish Administrator and the Parish Office is based in the Church hall office, close to the church. 

Church Wardens

Our Church Wardens are Phill Taber and Rachael Bull.

Verger

Our Verger is Philip Craner. Philip is present at Weddings and Funerals and is one of those who care for the appearance of the church building and church hall.
