Prayer for Advent 

Advent is a season where we reflect on the coming of Christ as the Saviour of Mankind - both as the baby 2000 years ago and looking forward to his Second Coming and the judgement of the world. It is a time of preparation. During this time, would you join us in praying for:

• Our witness to others through our lives in this busy time
• Our Church services - that through these, we will spread the Gospel to those seeking and anew to those who have already heard and received
• For our schools, extended families, and other groups who use our building - where this is often the only time of the year they come into Church - may we show them welcome and open their eyes to the Lord
• For Churches in our nation and around the world at this time of preparation - that our focus will be on the Lord
• For those who have to celebrate in secret or dangerous situations - for strength, peace and perseverance
